Students of the Divest Whitman campaign will host a “human oil spill” Friday in conjunction with that day’s Board of Trustees meeting.
The demonstration will take place at 12:30 p.m. in front of Memorial Hall, organizers said in a news release. The action protests the board’s “continued inaction on fossil fuel divestment despite overwhelming support from the Whitman community in favor of fossil fuel divestment,” according to the release.
